Course Description:
This Nan McKay & Associates Certification course examines the HUD requirements for the Project-Based Voucher (PBV) program under the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), and how to apply those regulations in the administration of the program. Learners will be able to differentiate between the program requirements for the Rental Assistance Demonstration Project-Based Voucher (RAD PBV) program, standard Project-Based Voucher (PBV) program, tenant-based Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, and public housing, identify and correctly utilize key program requirements, documents, policies, and regulations for the RAD PBV program; determine program eligibility and operate the waiting list,; navigate various occupancy issues, including leasing, inspections, annual recertification, Choice Mobility, and terminations; set and adjust rents; and develop a monitoring review process and avoid audit findings.

Duration: This is a self-paced training, requiring approximately 35 Hours to complete including

Exam:
Passing score of 70% is required to attain certification. Up to
3-Attempts are included.

Audience:
Housing professionals from agencies that are transitioning public housing units to Project-Based Voucher (PBV) under the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), including Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and public housing program staff, as well as anyone who is unfamiliar with RAD.
