Course Description:
This course examines the legal definition of eviction, and how to prepare for an eviction, including the common issues raised during the eviction process as well as the court’s role. It covers what is involved after lease termination, common defenses, how to enforce the lease, and how to apply due process in evictions. Attorney-client privilege is defined, as well as specifically how it applies in evictions, and best practices are shared for proper documentation, recordkeeping, and settlements. Duration: 1 Hour.
